Suppliers Database

National Treasury launched the National Central Supplier database (NCSD) with effect from 1 September 2015 as the only source of prospective suppliers to respective departments or public entities.

All prospective suppliers must register their companies on the website

Once a supplier has registered on NCSD, it will no longer be a requirement to provide the department with original Tax Clearance Certificates or any other registration documents.

Supplier's however will be requested to provide the following:

  • Certified BEE Certificate or Certified Sworn Affidavit
  • Any accreditation Information
Effective from the 1 April 2016, the Government will only award business to suppliers who are registered on NCSD.
