The Annapoorna - World of Food exhibition is an annual event, which seeks to encourage growth in the global
food and beverage market. The 2008 World of Food event was a resounding success, attracting ± 5,258 trade visitors from

- Food additives and ingredients;
- Fish, shellfish and seafood products;

In partnership with Bakery Review, the Society of India Bakers and BakeriesZone.com, the 2009

accommodate 10 (ten) firms at the Annapoorna - World of Food 2009 exhibition. Nevertheless, as part of the dti's
efforts to encourage the introduction of local products into foreign markets, the 10 South African

- Air travel assistance - (Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises (SMMEs) and Previously
Disadvantaged Individual (PDI) firms only);
