2006 - Cabinet Approval and Overview
On the 6th December 2006 Cabinet approved the gazetting of both phase 1 and phase 2 of the Codes of Good Practice.

2005 Phase 1 and 2
The BEE Codes of Good Practice are to be applied in the development,
evaluation and monitoring of BEE charters, initiatives, transactions
and other implementation mechanisms. The statement contains basic
principles and essential considerations, as well as guidance in the
form of explanatory, and other, material.
