Companies Regulations and Rectification of the Companies Act - Call for Public Inputs
The Minister of Trade and Industry, Dr Rob Davies (MP) has published the draft Companies Regulations, 2010 and
rectification notice to the Companies Act, No. 71 of 2008, following the identification of grammatical,
technical and other substantive inconsistencies in the Act.
In as far as the Rectification Notice is concerned, members of the public are invited to submit inputs and
comments on the relevant provisions within 30 days of publication thereof.
As regards the Companies Regulations, stakeholders and other interested parties may submit inputs
and comments from the date of publication thereof, until 1 March 2010.
